Course Description
In this lecture, Molly Allen, DVM, DACVV presents the physiologic basis, principles of operation and interpretation for pulse oximetry, capnography and electrocardiography. Case examples are included to demonstrate specific abnormalities detected with pulse oximetry, capnography and electrocardiography.
Objectives:
- Understanding the physiologic basis for pulse oximetry, capnography and electrocardiography
- Be able to interpret and recognize abnormalities in pulse oximetry, capnography and electrocardiography
- Learn steps to troubleshoot abnormalities detected with pulse oximetry, capnography and electrocardiography
