Course Objectives
In this course Lori A. Bidwell, DVM, DACVAA will present practical sedation protocols for equine patient in the field setting, discuss pharmacological differences of those techniques, how to monitor the anesthetized patient using ECG, Pulse Oximetry and doppler. Then addresses how to deal with difficult situations as they arise. This course is designed for the every day practitioner to expand their knowledge of performing equine anesthesia and monitoring that patient while in the field.
